About Us

Our philosophy

We believe that being organised is a necessary backbone to living a harmonious and successful personal life and business life.

We are not minimalists however support the principle of “Do more with less”. In that by reducing the clutter. You can do more with your time and energy, because you are no-longer wasting effort buying, sorting, and tidying up stuff.

Clients experience order and harmony with less stuff and clutter (both physical and mental). They gain a sense of clarity in direction, and are able to focus on what’s important giving them purpose and meaning in their lives.

We support the 4 R’s; Recycle, Reuse, reduce and Reconsider (before you buy), and assist clients to make the necessary choices with their belongings.

We want to help as many people get organised so that they can enjoy their life and business more fully.

The Butterfly logo

The butterfly is a metaphor for transformation. They start life off as caterpillars munching away at leaves, they then turn into chrysalises that eventually hatch beautiful butterflies, a symbol of freedom.

The “butterfly effect” is a phrase that refers to the idea that a butterfly’s wings might create tiny changes in the atmosphere that ultimately cause a tornado to appear. The flapping wing represents a small change in the initial condition of the system, which causes a chain of events leading to large-scale phenomena.

Hence by making small changes to the way someone does something, can produce big results. For example having the car keys in the same place (small change) can mean that someone does not loose time looking for them and arrives on time thereby creating the right impression on clients, keeping friends (big results – good relationships).

How we operate

What is a Professional Organiser?

“Professional organizers use tested principles and expertise to enhance the lives of clients. By designing custom organizing systems and teaching organizing skills, they help individuals and businesses take control of their surroundings, their time, their paper piles, their lives!

An organizer’s services can range from designing an efficient closet to organizing a cross-country move. For homeowners, he or she might offer room-by-room space planning and reorganization, estate organization, improved management of paperwork and computer files, systems for managing personal finances and other records, and/or coaching in time-management and goal-setting.

In business settings, an organizing pro can increase productivity and profitability with improvements in paper-filing and storage, electronic organizing, work-flow systems, employee time-management, space design, and more.”

Our aim is to provide best practice

We apply the best practice model of the four “Ps”; principles, policies, processes and puddles. Principles underpin all that you do and never change. The policies are the rules that guide the processes and procedures, and the puddles are the risks identified in preparation of the unknown and unwanted. These are what change and need regular reviewing.

Our commitment. We will:

  • have a consultation with you to establish what you require and to ensure our ability to be qualified to fulfill the request for our service.
  • prepare a proposal outlining our understanding of what is required including our fees and expenses.
  • charge fees and expenses which we deem reasonable, legitimate, and commensurate with our experience, the services we deliver, and the responsibility we accept
  • provide to all people truthful and accurate information with respect to professional performance of duties and completion of contracts.
  • keep confidential all client information, both business and personal.
  • respect the confidential nature of the client’s information, and will use proprietary client information only with the client’s permission.
  • make a commitment to possess and increase the required knowledge, skills and training to be proficient and relevant in the provision of services.
